The first six days of our trip were spent in the Corbieres Hills, three nights at Carcassone and three nights at Cucugnan.  Most of this time was devoted to Cather castles, Carcassonne and her five "sisters."  Between Carcassonne and Cucugnan we stopped at Fontfroide Abbey and Fort de Salses.
